~ online storage specialist launches UK partner programme to increase share of £357million market ~
humyo.com is to launch a partner programme to support ambitious growth plans and increase customer subscriptions of its WorkSpace solution in the SoHo, micro and small business space.
Europe’s largest independent online storage and file access provider for small businesses is looking to recruit 500 VARs to target the online storage market which is forecast to grow to £357 million worldwide by 2011.*
humyo.com’s associate programme provides low risk entry into an expanding market with no minimum sales volumes or targets. The scheme will pay commission to partners on both new and renewal customers with humyo.com providing all technical support and billing customers directly.
Later in the year, the company plans to expand the programme, allowing partners to manage client accounts themselves and providing all first level technical support. Already operating a white label programme for web hosting and teleco companies, there are plans to open this up to the reseller community.
WorkSpace is an on demand storage solution that is both easy to deploy and simple to use. It enables businesses to manage all their IT data storage securely online without the need to invest in costly servers and software. Its first major upgrade announced in February 2009, makes online collaboration and version control even easier, as folders are now automatically replicated online to any PC connected via the web. A snapshot is also taken of the data to back up information in case of loss.
“Having recently secured growth capital from investors we recognised the importance of regional VARs in the next phase of humyo.com’s success,” said Dan Conlon, founder and managing director of humyo.com. “Educating the small business owner of cloud-based services and the benefits of online collaboration will be the key to expanding our customer base.”
